From Lockdown to SPORTS Artistry:
HOW COVID 19 TRANSFORMED MY CREATIVE WORLD
As an artist, I never expected to discover my creative passion during the Covid 19 pandemic. When the world began to go into lockdown, I was presented with a unique opportunity to explore my artistic potential and develop a style of my own.
From then on, my artistry flourished as I began to focus on painting Liverpool Football Club Players, and I haven't looked back since.
It all started with a painting of Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp that I saw on social media during lockdown. I had always appreciated art, but I had never considered myself to be a painter. However, something about that particular painting spoke to me, and I decided to give it a go myself. Little did I know that this one painting would lead me to become a new artist, specializing in Liverpool Football Club Art. As a Belfast artist, it was the perfect way for me to combine my newfound passion with my love for football.
Over time, I started to paint more players from the team and received positive feedback from family and friends. They suggested that I try to get my art prints signed by the players themselves. This added an extra level of excitement to the process and kept me motivated to keep creating more pieces.
Now, as a Sports Artist, I am constantly pushing myself to try new things and perfect my craft. Painting has become my outlet and my happy place, and I am grateful that I discovered it during such a difficult time. It has shown me that it's never too late to find a new passion and to follow your dreams, even if they may seem daunting at first.
However, there were setbacks along the way. At times, I found it challenging to find the motivation to keep going, especially when I wasn't seeing the progress I wanted. But, with perseverance and determination, I managed to overcome these obstacles and come out the other side with a renewed sense of purpose.
So, to anyone reading this, I encourage you to pursue your passion, no matter how small or big it may seem. You never know where it may take you or how it may transform your life, as it did for me during the lockdown.
